 bronze PAHS Earns National Recognition
Recently, Punxsutawney Area High School was recognized by U.S. News & World Report in a national study of public high schools across the nation.  According to the U.S. News website, the study reviewed 21,035 schools in the U.S. and 168 schools from Pennsylvania made their list of "Best High Schools" in the nation.  Rankings were based on school demographics, reading and math proficiency, college readiness, and other data; schools were then awarded a designation of gold, silver, or bronze.  For more information on how PAHS ranked among other schools in PA and across the country, you can visit the U.S. News & World Report's review by clicking here.
