     Dear Parents/Guardians:

Yesterday evening, the PASD maintenance department and an outside company snaked a camera through the Bell Township sewer line and found no obstructions from the restrooms through to the tank.  With this new information, we feel that the maintenance department found and removed the final obstruction on February 15.

We will continue to monitor the drainage issue at Bell Township, as our students are our priority.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact your child’s teacher or Dr. Weber at 938-5116 or Mr. Gett, Maintenance Supervisor, at 938-5151 x  6750.

    Dear Parents/Guardians:

Late last week and yesterday, Bell Township has been experiencing problems with sewer drainage in the late afternoons (after 2:00).  Our maintenance staff was made aware as soon as the problem occurred and snaked the line at the building those specific evenings to remove the clogs.  The system worked without incident on Monday and again had a clog late yesterday afternoon.  With that, maintenance found an obstruction last night.  We are hopeful that the problem is now resolved.

Throughout the drainage issues, there was a toilet that was unaffected that students and adults could use.  A rumor is circulating that students needed to hold their bladders all day due to day-long toilet issues – This is not true.  There is also another rumor that sewage was backing up into the water fountains/drinking water – Again, this is not true.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or Dr. Weber at 938-5116 or contact Mr. Gett, Maintenance Supervisor, at 938-5151 x 6750.
