• I became an elementary principal here in Punxsutawney in August 2001.  I am thrilled to be the principal at all six PASD elementary schools for the 2017-2018 school year!  So many wonderful things happen at the buildings, the first of which is solid educational instruction by our teachers.  In addition, there are a number of parental involvement activities at the buildings that our families really enjoy.  Hope you come out for them!!

Before moving to Punxsutawney, I've lived in many places such as Colorado Springs, CO, where I worked for the U.S. Olympic Volleyball Team; in Germany, where I worked at the Nuernberg University of Maryland campus as a registrar; and in Texas, where I worked as a 6th grade math teacher and volleyball coach before becoming the Nolan Middle School assistant principal.  I've really enjoyed the time spent in all of these places.

Be sure to check on the PTO,  newsletter and calendar tabs for information about your child's elementary school.  The PTO is a critical component to our schools.  I'm hoping you'll take time to become a member and to attend the many functions we have in the buildings.  Please do your part on the fundraisers for your child's school when the information from the PTO comes home.  Without strong PTOs and our parents/guardians raising money - our students would not be able to have the fantastic field trips, programs and the tons of extras that they receive.
